The New Jersey Home Bakers’ Bill (A3618/S1768) would legalize the sale of potentially non hazardous home-baked goods in the Garden State, allowing home bakers to set up small, home-based businesses. It also has bipartisan support!
New Jersey is one of only TWO states in the country that doesn’t allow home bakers to sell their goods. We need to catch up with everybody else. All we want to be able to do is sell our baked goods to neighbors, community members, and at farmers’ markets. This is what people already do across the country. It is the American way.
